The Fremont Silver Wolves played against the Clearfield Falcons on Thursday, September 5th, and ultimately won 2-0.
The first half started off fast and furious with a shot taken by one of Fremont’s players only two minutes into the game, though the shot was caught by Clearfield’s goalie.
The ball stayed near Clearfield’s goalie for the majority of the first half, but no goals were scored until there were only 15 minutes left in the first half.
Taylor Chugg, number 36, scored this goal for the Silver Wolves.
With 7 minutes left in the first half, Fremont’s Berkley Heileson, number 13, went down because of a foul from a Clearfield player, though the details of what happened are unclear.
She stayed on the ground for more than 2 minutes before being helped off the field, though she came back in during the second half.
During stoppage time, three shots were taken, and Sophie Henley, number 10, ran off the field with a bloody nose.
Halftime was called a few minutes later.
During the second half of the game, Payten Ivins, number 19, shot multiple times. All of the shots went just over the goal, or were caught by the goalie before scoring.
That changed when there was 23 minutes left in the game, when Ivins scored the second and final goal of the game, though five more shots were taken before the game was over.
