Fremont’s soccer team played Northridge on Thursday, September 20 for the Senior game, and lost with a final score of 1-2.
The game started off when Northridge’s Hallestyn Kap scored just fifteen minutes into the game, bringing the score to 0-1 for Northridge.
Only a few minutes later, Taylor Chugg scored a goal for Fremont, taking the score to a tie at 1-1.
The rest of the half consisted of lots of back and forth between the players and the teams as a whole.
Only a handful of shots were taken, though none of them scored for either team.
With only three minutes left in the second half, Sierra Sivulich took a shot and scored for Northridge, pulling ahead of the Silver Wolves at 1-2. Halftime was called shortly after.
The second half started off with a bang when three shots were taken in the first five minutes.
Two shots were taken by Northridge players, and one from Fremont, but none of the shots scored a goal for either team.
The remainder of the half was full of shots and close calls from both sides of the field.
Fremont fought hard for the goal to tie the game, but no more goals were scored for either team.
The game ended with a score of 1-2, Northridge taking the win.
This was the last home game for the Silver Wolves this season, which meant the last home soccer game for Seniors Brynlee Barker (5), Haylee Corgait (24), Brinley Houston (17), and Ambree Gibson (21).
