The volleyball team is putting in the work this year. Practicing and performing for the school and their parents. The team practices after school everyday after school in the gym from 3:00 to 6:00. This year the volleyball team has been playing their hearts out.

When asked about how their season was going Coach Mailoto said “I think it is going better than what our record reflects, so we are doing a lot of positive things that our record doesn’t show.” with their scores being 8-9 overall and 2-5 regional.

Their theme this year is “we over me.” trying to bring a more positive mindset to the player, teaching them how to not be selfish and play as a team. When at a game, the environment is just so overwhelmingly positive. The girls were cheering for almost everything even if they got scored on.

The team puts a lot of effort into performing for the school making it an enjoyable experience. Even if you haven’t watched a volleyball game before it is very easy to pick up, making it easy to just show up and watch with your friend. So go out and support our volleyball team.
